WHY WE MADE THE SERIES?

To get people to fully realise the influence of the gambling environment on their children.

The series was developed with funding from Chrysalis Insight Inc. – a non profit organisation supporting people addicted to gambling.

We researched the issue of gambling, interviewing leading academics and experts in this field. We also interviewed people whose lives had been drastically impacted by gambling. During this development our direction became clear.

This web based drama raises an issue not normally considered: the influence of gambling on children growing up in a digital age. Never before have children been so exposed to saturation marketing of gambling in sport and on their screens. Children may be affected directly, or indirectly, as victims of the collateral damage that gambling can cause in families.

With this drama the conversation begins............
